Oliver L. “Buddy” Kurtz Jr, 59, Olathe, Kansas, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 in Olathe, KS. He was born May 20, 1957 in Lawrence, KS the son of Oliver L. Sr. & Shirley (Seever) Kurtz.
Buddy graduated from Olathe High School in 1975. He worked as a truck driver for Frank Bills Trucking. He loved American History and his Ancestry, researching where he and his family came from. Buddy loved his family and especially being with his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his father, a daughter, Keri Kurtz and his beloved pet companions, Max and Gracie.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley Kurtz, his children, Oliver L. Kurtz III (Rebecca), Kaytee Good (Dennis), Charles Kurtz, sisters, Deborah Jackson, Shelli Vandewynkle (Jeffery), grandchildren, Addison Kurtz, Ethan Kurtz, Crayton Good and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Johnson County Memorial Gardens Overland Park, Kansas.
