Twenty finalists have been selected to compete at “Olathe’s Got Talent,” an evening filled with these Olathe students showcasing their various vocal, dance and instrumental talents. When it’s over, more than $5,000 in scholarships will have been awarded to the top performers.
Finalists, by school, are: Maddie Tyson from California Trail, Eli Hoedl from Chisolm Trail, Sydney Muder from Frontier Trail, Bethany Wray from Heritage Christian, Brooklyn Funk from Indian Trail, Kendall Ficken from Millbrooke, Ayshah Kern from Northview, Jessica Chitwood, Evelyn Dubey and Wyatt Walberg from Olathe East, Alice Liu, Sophie Schulte and Kavya Nataraj & Group from Olathe North, Thomas Barnes, Max Cooper and Riley David from Olathe Northwest, Andrew Allen, Kyle Kersten, Chase Simmons, Peter Winslow, Alexia King and Brittany Taylor from Olathe South, and Garrison Galley from St. Thomas Aquinas. Alternates are: Summer Darpinian from California Trail, Dwayne Ellis from Olathe North, LyLena Estabine and Elizabeth Booze from Olathe Northwest and Shailyn Ross from Santa Fe Trail.
